There is no hour when every city is inside 9 am to 6 pm. Look for amber cells: early morning or evening for someone.

Daylight saving is applied automatically from the IANA time zone database built into your browser. In 2026 the UK is on BST until 25 October, the US on daylight time until 1 November and Sydney on AEDT from 4 October, so the gap to Singapore shrinks or grows by an hour on those dates.

How this works

Singapore Standard Time (SGT) is UTC+8 all year. Singapore has used UTC+8 since 1 January 1982, when clocks moved forward half an hour from UTC+7:30 to match Malaysia, and it does not observe daylight saving. The official time is kept by A*STAR's National Metrology Centre.

Conversions use the IANA time zone database built into your browser (the same data phones and computers use), so daylight saving is applied on the right dates. In 2026 the UK moves from GMT (UTC+0) to BST (UTC+1) on 29 March and back on 25 October; the US moves to daylight time on 8 March and back on 1 November; Sydney and Melbourne move to AEDT (UTC+11) on 4 October 2026 and back on 4 April 2027. Perth, Brisbane, India, China, Japan and the rest of Asia do not change their clocks.

The meeting planner lays each city's local time against every Singapore hour of the chosen day and marks the hours where everyone is between 9 am and 6 pm. Pick a time to make the result shareable: the link keeps the time, date and cities.

FAQs

What is the time difference between Singapore and India?

Singapore is 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of India all year. Neither country uses daylight saving, so 9:00 am in Singapore is always 6:30 am in India (IST, UTC+5:30), and 2:00 pm in India is 4:30 pm in Singapore.

How many hours ahead is Singapore from the UK?

Singapore is 7 hours ahead of the UK during British Summer Time and 8 hours ahead in winter. In 2026 the gap is 7 hours until 25 October, then 8 hours until BST starts again on 28 March 2027. So 5:00 pm in Singapore is 9:00 am in London from late October.

What is the time difference between Singapore and the US?

Singapore is 12 hours ahead of New York in US daylight time and 13 hours ahead in winter; for Los Angeles it is 15 and 16 hours. US clocks go back on 1 November 2026, so from then 9:00 pm in Singapore is 8:00 am in New York.

Does Malaysia or Indonesia have the same time as Singapore?

Malaysia, the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Perth share Singapore's UTC+8. Indonesia has three zones: Jakarta and Batam (WIB) are 1 hour behind Singapore, Bali (WITA) is the same as Singapore, and Papua (WIT) is 1 hour ahead.

Does Singapore have daylight saving time?

No. Singapore stays on UTC+8 all year and has not changed its clocks since 1 January 1982. When another country starts or ends daylight saving, the time difference to Singapore changes by one hour.
