Why we built Lookup
Most directories are pay-to-play lists of phone numbers. We think finding a plumber, a vet or a tuition centre should start with facts: is this business licensed, how long has it been around, what should this cost, and how far is it from the MRT?
So we built Lookup on Singapore’s public registers and open map data, matched every listing to the licences we can find, and wrote sourced guides for each category. The result is a directory you can check, not just browse.

We match businesses to NEA, SFA, MOH, ECDA, BCA and other registers, and show what we found on every listing.
Rankings are never sold
Order comes only from verifiable signals. Featured placements are labelled and never change the organic order.
Every number sourced
Price guides and data pages cite their sources, and data guides are computed from official datasets by script.
