Percentiles use MOM's Labour Force in Singapore 2025 income bands for full-time employed residents (citizens and PRs, June 2025, excluding full-time National Servicemen), assuming incomes are spread evenly within each band, so treat the result as an estimate to the nearest few points. Occupation medians are from MOM's Occupational Wage Survey 2025(private establishments with 25 or more employees).

How this works

The percentile uses MOM's Labour Force in Singapore 2025 (Comprehensive Labour Force Survey, June 2025), Table C10: full-time employed residents (Singapore citizens and PRs, excluding full-time National Servicemen) by gross monthly income from employment, excluding employer CPF contributions. MOM counts gross income before the employee's CPF deduction and tax, including one-twelfth of annual bonuses, so the calculator adds your bonus divided by 12 to your monthly salary. Within each income band it assumes incomes are spread evenly, so the percentile is an estimate.

MOM puts the 2025 median at S$5,000 a month excluding employer CPF (S$5,250 for men, S$4,776 for women) and S$5,775 including employer CPF. Age medians come from Tables C3 and C4, which peak at S$6,750 (excluding employer CPF) for ages 40 to 44.

Occupation medians are MOM's Occupational Wage Survey 2025 (Table 1, June 2025): median monthly gross wages of full-time resident employees in private establishments with at least 25 employees. Gross wage there is basic pay plus overtime, commissions, allowances and other regular cash payments, excluding bonuses and employer CPF, so compare it with your monthly salary alone. About 100 common occupations are included.
