Confirm on the bank's page before you move money. Deposits are insured by SDIC up to S$100,000 per depositor per bank.
How this works
Each account is worked out from the bank's own rate table, checked on 10 October 2026, assuming your balance stays the same for 12 months. You enter your balance, the salary you would credit and your monthly card spend; the calculator applies each bank's criteria and balance tiers and ranks the four accounts by interest for your situation. It is neutral: there are no affiliate links and no bank pays to be listed.
OCBC 360 pays 0.05% base on the whole balance plus bonuses on the first S$100,000: Salary (S$1,800 a month) 1.00% on the first S$75,000 and 2.00% on the next S$25,000; Save (balance up S$500 a month) 0.40%, raised to 0.50% / 1.10% from 1 August to 31 December 2026; Spend (S$500 on selected OCBC cards) 0.25%; Insure and Invest 1.00% / 2.00% each; Grow (S$250,000 balance) 1.20%.
UOB One (revised 1 December 2025) needs S$500 a month on an eligible UOB card. With card spend only, the first S$75,000 earns 0.65%. Adding 3 GIRO debits pays 1.00% on the first S$75,000 and 2.00% on the next S$50,000. Adding a salary credit of at least S$1,600 pays 1.00%, 2.50% on the next S$50,000 and 3.40% on the next S$25,000. Balances above the tiers earn 0.05%.
DBS Multiplier pays one total rate set by your income plus eligible transactions and the number of categories (Spend, Insurance, Investments, Home Loan): with income and 1 category, 1.8% / 1.9% / 2.2% on the first S$50,000 at S$500 / S$15,000 / S$30,000 of monthly transactions; 2 categories 2.1% / 2.2% / 3.0% and 3 or more 2.4% / 2.5% / 4.1% on the first S$100,000. Those aged 18 to 29 earn 1.5% on the first S$50,000 for any card or PayLah! spend without income. Standard Chartered Bonus$aver pays 0.05% base plus, on the first S$100,000, 0.90% for a S$3,000 salary, 0.90% for S$1,000 of card spend, and 2.50% (Insure) or 1.50% (Invest) for 6 months after a qualifying purchase.
