Causeway Traffic Now: Live Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoint Cameras
Woodlands Causeway
Woodlands Checkpoint and the BKE approach
Tuas Second Link
Tuas Checkpoint and the AYE approach
Source: LTA via data.gov.sg (Traffic Images API).
These are still images, not video, so a queue can build or clear between captures. Since 30 June 2026 LTA publishes only these eight cameras: Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints, their BKE and AYE approaches, and Sentosa Gateway. The other expressway cameras (PIE, CTE, ECP, KJE and the rest) are no longer published.
How this works
The images come live from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) through data.gov.sg's Traffic Images API. LTA's cameras capture a new still image every few minutes; this page checks for new images every minute and shows the time each one was captured, in Singapore time. Tap an image to open it at full size.
Since 30 June 2026 LTA publishes only eight cameras: three at Woodlands (the Causeway towards Johor, Woodlands Checkpoint towards the BKE, and Woodlands Flyover towards the checkpoint), three at Tuas (the Second Link, Tuas Checkpoint, and the AYE after Tuas West Road) and two at Sentosa Gateway. Camera names are LTA's own; the location notes come from each camera's published coordinates.
To plan a crossing, compare both checkpoints before you set off. A queue on the Woodlands Flyover or the AYE after Tuas West Road shows traffic backing up on the approach road, before the checkpoint itself. The images are snapshots, so a queue can build or clear between captures, and they do not show waiting times at immigration.
FAQs
How do I check Causeway traffic right now?
The Woodlands section above shows LTA's latest images of the Causeway towards Johor, Woodlands Checkpoint and the Woodlands Flyover on the BKE, each with its capture time. The page checks for new images every minute.
Which is faster, Woodlands or Tuas?
It changes through the day, so compare the live cameras for both checkpoints before you leave. If the Woodlands Flyover camera shows a queue on the BKE, look at the Second Link and AYE cameras at Tuas. The cameras show traffic, not immigration waiting times.
How often are the checkpoint camera images updated?
LTA's cameras capture a new image every few minutes. Each image on this page is labelled with its capture time, and an image older than 20 minutes is highlighted.
Where are the other expressway traffic cameras?
Since 30 June 2026 LTA has published only eight cameras: Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints, their BKE and AYE approaches, and Sentosa Gateway. Images from the other expressway cameras (PIE, CTE, ECP, KJE and others) are no longer available.
