Jewel Changi Airport sits in front of Terminal 1 and links to Terminals 2 and 3 by covered bridges, so you can reach it by MRT, bus or car even if you are not flying. This guide follows the "Getting to Jewel" information published by Jewel Changi Airport and Changi Airport Group. Routes and timings change, so check their pages or LTA before you leave.

By MRT

Take the MRT to Changi Airport station (CG2). From the station, link bridges on Level 2 lead to Jewel from Terminals 2 and 3.

  • From the East-West Line (green): ride to Tanah Merah (EW4), cross the platform and board the train to Changi Airport.
  • From the Downtown Line (blue): ride to Expo (DT35), then change to the East-West Line eastbound for Changi Airport.

Changi Airport Group lists the first trains to the airport at about 5:20am to 5:23am Monday to Saturday and the last at about 11:50pm to 11:53pm, so late-night arrivals need a bus or car.

The Thomson-East Coast Line does not yet go to Changi. Its Bedok South and Sungei Bedok stations (the latter an interchange with the Downtown Line) are planned for the second half of 2026 and had not opened at the time of writing. Even then, Changi Airport station on the East-West Line remains the stop for Jewel.

By bus

The Jewel page lists services 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110 and 858 at the Terminal 1 basement bus bay. From Level 1 of Terminal 1, follow the signs to Jewel. Changi Airport Group's page also lists service 44 among the airport buses.

By car, taxi or private hire

Driving from the city centre takes about 20 minutes via the East Coast Parkway, according to Jewel. Taxis and private hire cars use the departure drop-off points at the terminals, and you then walk to Jewel: directly from the Terminal 1 arrival hall, or by link bridge from Level 2 of Terminal 2 or 3 (about 5 to 10 minutes).

If you are parking, Jewel publishes its own car park rates, with separate short-term and general parking levels and a daily motorcycle rate. Check the current charges before you go.

From Terminal 4

A free shuttle runs from the Terminal 4 arrival lounge to Jewel and Terminal 1. Jewel lists the direct shuttle as running from 6am to midnight daily, with a loop service through Terminals 3 and 1 from 1am to 6am.
