## How this works
Rates come from LTA's base ERP rate table on OneMotoring, in force from 7 September 2026, transcribed slot by slot by a script. The table sets a base rate for passenger cars, taxis and light goods vehicles at each gantry group for each time slot from 7am to 8pm. Other vehicles pay the base rate times a factor: 0.5 for motorcycles, 1.5 for heavy goods vehicles and small buses, and 2 for very heavy goods vehicles and big buses.

A rate applies from the start of its slot up to, but not including, the end: in a 7.30am to 8am slot you pay that rate from 7.30am and the next rate from 8am. Most rates are set in half-hour periods, with short 5-minute steps in between so the charge rises and falls gradually. A blank slot in LTA's table is free.

ERP currently operates Monday to Friday only. It does not run on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, and it ends at 1pm on the eve of New Year's Day, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Haji, Deepavali and Christmas. LTA reviews rates every quarter and adjusts them during the June and December school holidays, so check the effective date shown with the result.

ERP 2.0: LTA is moving from the old In-vehicle Unit (IU) to the On-Board Unit (OBU), and says the IU will be phased out by the end of 2026. Foreign-registered vehicles without an OBU will then pay a flat ERP fee of S$3 (motorcycles) or S$10 (other vehicles) for each ERP operational day they are on Singapore roads.
