## How to choose
- Define the job first: last-mile parcels, pallet or lorry moves, warehousing and pick-pack, or import and export clearance. Few providers do all of these well.
- Ask how they charge storage (per pallet, per cubic metre or per square foot) and handling (per order, per carton, inbound and outbound). Then model your real monthly volume.
- Check the default liability limit. Carriers often limit liability by weight or per package, so buy cargo insurance for high-value goods.
- For e-commerce, check how they integrate with your shop platform (Shopify, Shopee, Lazada) and their pick accuracy rate and cut-off times.
- Visit the warehouse if you can, and ask about pest control, fire safety, CCTV and stock-count procedures.
