- Ask whether the gym is CaseTrust-accredited for fitness centres, which requires prepayments to be protected. Most gyms are not, so check the CASE register yourself.

Contact CASE (6277 5100) to lodge a claim. If you paid by credit card, also ask your bank whether you can dispute the charge for services not delivered.

### Is there a cooling-off period for gym contracts in Singapore?
Generally no. Singapore's statutory cooling-off period covers direct sales made away from the business's premises and timeshare contracts, not memberships you sign at the gym. Your cancellation rights depend on the contract you sign. In October 2026, CASE proposed a mandatory cooling-off period for high-value prepaid packages, but this was not law at the time of writing.
