## How to choose
- Start at a driving range or simulator with a few lessons rather than buying clubs. Most ranges rent clubs, and simulators let you practise in air-conditioning, out of the rain.
- Choose a coach certified by the Singapore Professional Golfers' Association (SPGA) or a PGA body. Ask whether lessons include course play, not just range time.
- If you want to play full rounds, pick a programme that leads to a handicap or proficiency certificate, since many clubs require one from visitors.
- Compare range pricing by time slot. Weekday mornings are much cheaper than weekend and evening slots.
