# How to Get to East Coast Park (ECP) by MRT, Bus and Car

> How to reach East Coast Park: Thomson-East Coast Line stations from Marine Parade to Bayshore, bus 401 into the park, Bedok, and car parks A to G.

East Coast Park runs for several kilometres along the East Coast Parkway and East Coast Park Service Road, and NParks lists it as open 24 hours. Where you enter depends on which part you want: the beach at Marine Cove, the cycling and skating stretch, the National Sailing Centre or the seafood places near the lagoon. This guide uses NParks' park information and LTA bus data. Bus routes change, so check LTA or a live transport app before you travel.

## By MRT

The Thomson-East Coast Line's fourth stage, which LTA opened on **23 June 2024**, runs close to the park along Marine Parade Road. Stations from west to east:

- **Tanjong Katong (TE25)** and **Marine Parade (TE26)**, for the western end and Marine Cove
- **Marine Terrace (TE27)** and **Siglap (TE28)**, for the middle of the park
- **Bayshore (TE29)**, for the eastern end towards Bedok

From these stations, walk south towards the coast and cross under the East Coast Parkway to reach the park. Distances vary by section.

NParks also lists **Bedok (EW5)** on the East-West Line, which links to the park by bus from Bedok Interchange.

## By bus

**Service 401** is the only route that runs into the park itself. It loops from Bedok Interchange along East Coast Park Service Road, with stops at Marine Cove, Raintree Cove, car parks C, D and E and the Cable Ski Park, and it also calls at Marine Parade and Siglap stations. It runs on weekends and public holidays only, so check SBS Transit for the current days and hours.

On other days, take a bus to Marine Parade Road and walk south. LTA bus data lists stops at:

- **Marine Pde Stn/Parkway Pde (92049):** services 15, 31, 36, 43, 47, 48, 134, 135, 196 and 197
- **Marine Terr Stn (92071 and 92079):** services including 13, 16, 31, 36, 43, 47, 48, 55, 196 and 197
- **Siglap Stn (93031 and 93039):** services including 31, 43, 47, 48, 55, 155, 196 and 197

Services 196 and 197 start from Bedok Interchange.

## By car, taxi or private hire

NParks lists car parks in Areas A to G (A, B1 to B3, C1 to C4, D1, D3, D5, E1 to E3, F2 and G), reached from East Coast Park Service Road. Parking fees may apply, and the car parks fill up quickly at weekends and on public holidays. For a taxi or Grab, give the car park number nearest the part of the park you want. The numbers are signposted along the service road.

As of October 2026, NParks notices say the footpath to **Carpark C4** is closed for widening works until 21 November 2026, and the footpath to **Carpark C1** until 31 October 2026.
